Favorite Music:
Wanna Know Which Placebo Song You Are?, Plasticine-Individuality is the most important thing to you-you`re confident and satisfied with yourself, and you always stay true to your beliefs, no matter what everybody else thinks. You always try to be original, and you feel quite sorry for those poor people who let themselves be moulded into something they`re not., Ok, somehow all the music I had listed dissapeared after I took the Placebo quiz. Well, obviously I like Placebo, Miss Polly Jean Harvey is my Goddess. Throw in some Bjork, The Cure, Depeche Mode, I am currently obsessed with Covenant. Siouxsie is up there with the Goddesses, I love Budgie too. Give me Pixies and Bowie, a little Iggy Pop thrown together with Maynard from Tool on top and I have an amalgam of hot male voices with a little bit o Kim thrown in.Throwing Muses, Poison Girls, Crass, Zounds, Kinnie Star, The Dresden Dolls, All the mix tapes I've ever made and received, Cat Power, Front 242, Frontline Assembly, PetShop Boys, Erasure and Po' Girl and The Be Good Tanyas. If you're looking at me...you're looking at country. Lady Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Bill Monroe, Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Patsy Cline, and a whole bunch of other stuff Randall introduced to me whie we were living in Texas. Gods! there's no metal on here. It will have to suffice to say for now that I like old metal.
Favorite TV Shows:
Um, can I just say Buffy?! I like Angel too. Queer as Folk, Dead Like Me. Law and Order, CSI and I saw this show called House while I was in Beantown and I liked it a lot. Yay for British actors. Charmed, The L Word (ok, yeah, I really kind of am a big ol' dyke.), I fear I may be addicted to TV on DVD. Oh the bittersweetness of Netflix.
Favorite Books:
Give me comic books with deep wit and art that makes me want to hurl (that's a good thing by the way.) I want everything written by Neil gaiman and illustrated by Dave Mckeon. Give me characters that I have crushes on! I love young adult books, especially queer young adult novels. Julie Anne Peters, where were you when I was desperately trying to come out?, Charles DeLint and his mythic fiction universe. Anne Rice and her son Christopher. We all know that I love HArry Potter. 21st July!, I like cookbooks and zines and journals that my friends make for me. Dictionaries, Thesauri (?) Etomology books. Historical fiction and mystery novels. Tamora Pierce and her strong female protagonists. The Marketplace series by Laura Antoniou. I can't help but like my journals for the sheer embarrasement for others (or well really, me) that they cause. Was I really that crazy back then? Am I really still that crazy? We shall see.
